Special candies & boosters
Striped and wrapped candies, colour bombs and boosters that clear the board in style.
Lives, done fairly
Lives refill over time — and an optional local reminder tells you when they're back.
Game Center
Optional leaderboards and achievements. Fully playable without signing in.
No forced ads
Ads are opt-in only — tap to watch for a reward, or never watch one. They never interrupt a level, and nothing is locked behind them.
Plays offline
The game needs no connection, and your progress lives on your device. Only the optional rewarded videos go online.
Your progress stays on your device.
Short version: Candy Cracker has no accounts and no server of ours, and the game makes no network requests of its own. The one exception is the optional rewarded video ads: if you choose to watch one, Google collects advertising data to select and measure it. You can play the whole game without ever watching one.
Candy Cracker is published by Schnalz.net, which is the controller for the data described here. For anything privacy-related, use the support form below.
Advertising
Candy Cracker shows optional rewarded video ads only, provided by Google AdMob. There are no banners, no interstitials, and nothing ever plays during a level. An ad only appears after you tap a button that says what you get for it, and there are five such places: when you are out of lives, out of moves, or out of coins; to start a level with a free booster; and to double your daily bonus. Each has its own daily limit, between one and eight times a day depending on the reward. Every reward can also be earned by playing or bought with coins — nothing in the game is locked behind an ad.
To select, deliver and measure those ads, Google may collect a device advertising identifier, an approximate (city-level) location derived from your IP address, app interaction and advertising data, and diagnostic information such as crash and performance data. This is used for advertising, for measurement and analytics, and to measure how well ads for our own apps perform. Google's handling of it is governed by Google's advertising privacy policy. We receive only aggregate earnings reports, never anything that identifies you.
The app embeds two Google SDKs and no others: the Google Mobile Ads SDK, and the User Messaging Platform SDK that presents the consent form described below. We run no analytics SDK of our own.
Your consent, and how to change it
On iOS you are asked before any tracking begins. If you decline, ads still work and simply become non-personalised — the rewards are identical either way. You can change this at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking, or reset your advertising identifier there.
In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland you are additionally shown a consent form before ads load, and you can reopen it at any time from Settings → Ad privacy options inside the game to change or withdraw your choice.
Data we collect ourselves
None. Apart from the advertising described above, nothing about you is collected, stored or transmitted by us.
Data stored on your device
Your progress — levels, stars, best scores, coins, settings and achievements — is saved only in the app's local storage. It never leaves the device, it is deleted when you delete the app, and you can erase it at any time via Settings → Reset Progress. Purchases are kept, so resetting never destroys something you paid for.
In-app purchases and the Sweet Pass
Coin packs and the Starter Pack are one-time purchases. The Sweet Pass is an auto-renewing subscription at USD 4.99 per month (local prices vary) granting unlimited lives and 100 coins a day. It renews automatically until cancelled; you can cancel any time in App Store → Account → Subscriptions, and cancelling takes effect at the end of the paid period. It is a convenience — no exclusive levels, and every level is completable without it.
Everything is processed by Apple through the App Store. We never see or store your payment information; purchase management, cancellation and refunds are handled by Apple under the standard Apple licence terms.
Game Center and notifications (both optional)
If you sign in to Game Center, your scores and achievements go to Apple's Game Center service under Apple's privacy policy. If you opt in to notifications, the app schedules local reminders on your device — no notification data leaves it. The game is fully playable without either, and both can be turned off in Settings.
Children
The app is rated 4+ and is not directed to children. It is not part of the App Store Kids Category. Because the game shows third-party advertising, we do not knowingly collect data from children under the age at which consent is required in their country.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version is published at this address before the change takes effect. Last updated 4 August 2026.
