How it works

Match three to play.

Easy to pick up, hard to put down. Swap a candy, line up three, and let the board do the rest.

1 · Match three

Swap two candies to line up three or more of the same colour.

2 · Chain cascades

Cleared candies fall and refill — set off chain reactions for big combos.

3 · Beat the level

Hit the target before you run out of moves, and earn up to three stars.

Features

Sweet, not sticky.

All the fun of a match-3, without the forced ads or the timers that nag.

1,000 levels

Twenty chapters that build from breezy to brain-bending — and you can walk ahead to see what is coming before you unlock it.

Special candies & boosters

Striped and wrapped candies, colour bombs and boosters that clear the board in style.

Lives, done fairly

Lives refill over time — and an optional local reminder tells you when they're back.

Game Center

Optional leaderboards and achievements. Fully playable without signing in.

No forced ads

Ads are opt-in only — tap to watch for a reward, or never watch one. They never interrupt a level, and nothing is locked behind them.

Plays offline

The game needs no connection, and your progress lives on your device. Only the optional rewarded videos go online.

Privacy

Your progress stays on your device.

Short version: Candy Cracker has no accounts and no server of ours, and the game makes no network requests of its own. The one exception is the optional rewarded video ads: if you choose to watch one, Google collects advertising data to select and measure it. You can play the whole game without ever watching one.

Candy Cracker is published by Schnalz.net, which is the controller for the data described here. For anything privacy-related, use the support form below.

Advertising

Candy Cracker shows optional rewarded video ads only, provided by Google AdMob. There are no banners, no interstitials, and nothing ever plays during a level. An ad only appears after you tap a button that says what you get for it, and there are five such places: when you are out of lives, out of moves, or out of coins; to start a level with a free booster; and to double your daily bonus. Each has its own daily limit, between one and eight times a day depending on the reward. Every reward can also be earned by playing or bought with coins — nothing in the game is locked behind an ad.

To select, deliver and measure those ads, Google may collect a device advertising identifier, an approximate (city-level) location derived from your IP address, app interaction and advertising data, and diagnostic information such as crash and performance data. This is used for advertising, for measurement and analytics, and to measure how well ads for our own apps perform. Google's handling of it is governed by Google's advertising privacy policy. We receive only aggregate earnings reports, never anything that identifies you.

Where ads are personalised, Google passes your full IP address — not a shortened one — to the advertising buyers bidding for the ad, who use it to judge how relevant and how valuable the impression is. A full IP address can indicate your approximate location and the network you are on. Where ads are limited or non-personalised, which includes everyone in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, the address is shortened before it is shared. We turned this on deliberately on 2 September 2026.

The app embeds two Google SDKs and no others: the Google Mobile Ads SDK, and the User Messaging Platform SDK that presents the consent form described below. We run no analytics SDK of our own.

Your consent, and how to change it

On iOS you are asked before any tracking begins. If you decline, your advertising identifier is not used, ads still work, and the rewards are identical either way. Declining does not by itself put ads into Google’s “non-personalised” mode: where personalised advertising is permitted, other signals may still be used to choose the ad. You can change this at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking, or reset your advertising identifier there.

In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland you are additionally shown a consent form before ads load, and you can reopen it at any time from Settings → Ad privacy options inside the game to change or withdraw your choice.

Data we collect ourselves

None. Apart from the advertising described above, nothing about you is collected, stored or transmitted by us.

Data stored on your device

Your progress — levels, stars, best scores, coins, settings and achievements — is saved only in the app's local storage. It never leaves the device, it is deleted when you delete the app, and you can erase it at any time via Settings → Reset Progress. Purchases are kept, so resetting never destroys something you paid for.

In-app purchases and the Sweet Pass

Coin packs and the Starter Pack are one-time purchases. The Sweet Pass is an auto-renewing subscription at USD 4.99 per month (local prices vary) granting unlimited lives and 100 coins a day. It renews automatically until cancelled; you can cancel any time in App Store → Account → Subscriptions, and cancelling takes effect at the end of the paid period. It is a convenience — no exclusive levels, and every level is completable without it.

Everything is processed by Apple through the App Store. We never see or store your payment information; purchase management, cancellation and refunds are handled by Apple under the standard Apple licence terms.

Game Center and notifications (both optional)

If you sign in to Game Center, your scores and achievements go to Apple's Game Center service under Apple's privacy policy. If you opt in to notifications, the app schedules local reminders on your device — no notification data leaves it. The game is fully playable without either, and both can be turned off in Settings.

Children

The app is rated 4+ and is not directed to children. It is not part of the App Store Kids Category. Because the game shows third-party advertising, we do not knowingly collect data from children under the age at which consent is required in their country.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version is published at this address before the change takes effect. Last updated 2 September 2026.

Support

Message us, or browse the FAQ. We read every one.

Does Candy Cracker need an internet connection?
The game plays fully offline — levels, progress and stars all work with no connection, and there is no account and no game server. Three optional extras use the network: rewarded video ads, Game Center, and the App Store for purchases. Skip those and the app never goes online.
Are there ads?
Only ones you choose to watch. Candy Cracker never shows a forced ad, never interrupts a level, and never plays a video you didn't tap. There are five places you can opt into one: out of lives, out of moves, out of coins, a free booster at the start of a level, and doubling your daily bonus. Each has its own daily limit. Everything an ad gives you can also be earned by playing or bought with coins.
How do lives work?
Lives refill over time. If you opt in, the game schedules a local reminder when they're back — that notification is generated on your device and never leaves it.
Do I have to pay anything?
No. Every level is completable without spending. Coin packs and the Starter Pack are one-time purchases, and the Sweet Pass is an optional auto-renewing subscription at USD 4.99 per month (local prices vary) for unlimited lives and 100 coins a day — a convenience, with no exclusive levels. Cancel any time in App Store → Account → Subscriptions. Everything is processed by Apple; we never see your payment information.
Do I need Game Center?
No. Sign in to Apple's Game Center if you'd like leaderboards and achievements; the game is fully playable without it.
How do I reset my progress?
Settings → Reset Progress inside the game. Deleting the app also erases everything stored on your device.
What languages does it support?
Ten: English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese (Brazil), Russian and Simplified Chinese.
Which devices?
iPhone, iOS 16 or later.
