Battle Nearby

Host a room and friends on your Wi‑Fi see it instantly. Combos and chains hurl garbage blocks at your rivals. Last one standing wins.

Invite with a scan

Friends without the game scan the QR code in your room, install it free and join. Everyone plays on their own iPhone or iPad.

Chain it. COMBASH!

Swap two blocks to line up three. Set up chain reactions, and a ×4 chain shakes the whole screen.

VS CPU

Four rivals, from sweet Bubbles to the undefeated Oni, for when nobody is around.

Daily Challenge

The same board for everyone, every day. Keep your streak and share your score.

Time Attack & Endless

Two frantic minutes, or a stack that never stops rising. Every solo mode plays fully offline.

No accounts, no forced ads

Open it and play. The only ads are optional reward videos you choose to watch, never during a game.

Six languages

English, Español, Português, Français, Deutsch and 日本語, with local player names. It follows your iPhone's language.

Built for everyone

Every color has its own shape for color‑blind players, plus a left‑handed layout, Reduce Motion support and VoiceOver labels.

Privacy

Your data stays on your device.

Combash has no accounts and no server of ours, and we never receive your data. Your profile and stats stay on your device, and Nearby battles stay on your local network. The only exception is the optional reward videos: if you choose to watch one, Google collects advertising data to show and measure it. You can play the whole game without ever watching one.

Effective October 15, 2026. Combash is published by Schnalz.net, the controller for the data described here.

Data stored on your device

Your player name, avatar and color, your stats and best scores, unlocked bonus avatars and your settings are saved only in the app's storage on your device. They never reach us, and deleting the app deletes them.

Nearby battles (local network)

When you open Battle Nearby, iOS asks for Local Network access. Combash then uses Bonjour to find rooms and exchanges your player name, avatar, color and live game state directly with the other devices in the room. This traffic stays on your local network; it doesn't go to the internet or to us. You can turn Local Network access off any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Local Network.

Advertising (optional reward videos)

Combash shows rewarded video ads only, provided by Google AdMob. There are no banners and no interstitials, and nothing ever plays during a game. A video only appears after you tap a button that says what you get for it. There are two such places: a second chance after topping out in Endless, Time Attack or VS CPU (once per game), and unlocking a bonus avatar. Ads never appear in the Daily Challenge or in Nearby battles.

To select, deliver and measure those ads, Google may collect: your device's advertising identifier (only if you allow tracking when iOS asks), your IP address (used to estimate an approximate location), information about the ads you see and tap, and diagnostic and performance data. Google processes this data under Google's advertising policies. Ad content is limited to material suitable for general audiences with parental guidance.

Your choices: iOS lets you allow or refuse tracking; you can change this in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, Google's consent form asks for your choices before personalized ads are used, and Combash's Settings shows Ad privacy options so you can change them later. Refusing has no effect on the game: every reward works the same.

Sharing

When you tap Share, Combash creates a result image and a short message with a link to the game. Nothing is sent unless you pick an app to share it with.

Children

Combash is a general-audience game rated 4+. We don't collect personal data from anyone, children included. Ad content is capped as described above.

Your rights

Because we hold no data about you, there is nothing for us to export or delete; your on-device data goes when you delete the app. For data Google collected through ads, see Google's privacy policy. Anything privacy-related? Reach us through the support form below.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published here before the change takes effect.

How do I play with friends?
Everyone needs Combash on their own iPhone or iPad and must be on the same Wi‑Fi network. One player taps Battle Nearby → Host a room; the others tap Battle Nearby, see the room within a second and tap Join, then I'm ready. The host starts the battle. Up to 4 players per room.
My friend's room doesn't show up
Check that both devices are on the same Wi‑Fi network (not a guest network, which often blocks devices from seeing each other) and that a VPN isn't active. Then check iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Local Network and make sure Combash is turned on.
Do I need an internet connection?
No. Nearby battles only need a shared Wi‑Fi network, not the internet, and every solo mode (VS CPU, Daily Challenge, Time Attack, Endless and the tutorial) plays fully offline. Only the optional reward videos need the internet.
Does it cost anything?
Combash is free, with no accounts and no in-app purchases.
Are there ads?
Only the ones you choose to watch. Combash never shows a forced ad and never interrupts a game. You can watch a short video for a second chance after topping out, or to unlock a bonus avatar. Everything else is free without ever watching one.
How do I report an inappropriate ad?
Tap the ⓘ (AdChoices) icon in the corner of the ad to report it to Google directly. You can also send us the details with the form on this page (topic: Report an ad): roughly when you saw it and what it showed. We'll block it for everyone.
How do I change my ad privacy choices?
Tracking: iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland: Combash → Settings → Ad privacy options.
Which languages does Combash speak?
English, Spanish, Portuguese (Brazil), French, German and Japanese. It follows your iPhone's language.
Which devices?
iPhone and iPad with iOS 18 or later.
