Case study · Digital asset exchange

From day one to the
New York Stock Exchange.

Bullish set out to build a digital-asset exchange that institutions could take seriously — in a category the institutional world didn't yet trust. It ended up the first of its kind listed on the New York Stock Exchange, with more than $10 billion raised along the way.

The story

Credibility was the product.

A digital-asset exchange asking institutional investors for their trust has no room for crypto theatrics. Every touchpoint — positioning, launch communications, the words chosen in front of regulators, press and partners — had to say the same thing: this exchange is built like the financial infrastructure you already trust.

Schnalz was a launching member of the project and led the comprehensive marketing strategy from the company's inception through to its listing — the positioning, the launch, and the always-on marketing in between, run by the same senior people throughout.

The outcome is public record: more than $10 billion raised, #1 results in performance benchmarks, and the historic day the ticker BLSH went live — the world's first digital-asset exchange listed on the New York Stock Exchange.
