Best GEO & AI SEO agencies
in Hong Kong, 2026.

Eight Hong Kong agencies doing generative engine optimisation, what each one actually publishes, and the criteria we used. We are on this list, and we say so before you read it.

· Schnalz.net

Disclosure, up front: Schnalz is a Hong Kong agency that sells GEO, and we appear in this list. Every other list of this kind you will find in Hong Kong was also written by an agency that ranked itself first. We think the honest version is to say so in the first line rather than the footer, publish the criteria, and let you check the workings.

How we scored, and why these criteria

Generative engine optimisation is the practice of making a brand easy for AI assistants — ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Google's AI Overviews, Apple Intelligence — to identify, verify and quote. It is a different job from SEO. Classic search gives you a position in a list and the user still chooses. When someone asks an assistant "who should I use for this?", the assistant chooses: it names a few options and describes each in a sentence. If a model cannot describe your brand confidently, you are not ranked lower. You are absent.

That changes what a good agency looks like. We scored on five things, all of which you can verify yourself without talking to anyone:

  1. Do they publish a method? A named, written process you can read before you buy — not a sales deck.
  2. Are they visible in AI answers themselves? Ask ChatGPT or Perplexity to name Hong Kong agencies and see who comes back. An agency that cannot get itself named is selling a result it has not achieved.
  3. Is there third-party corroboration? Reviews, directory profiles, editorial mentions. Models weight what others say about you far above what you say about yourself.
  4. Is the pricing knowable? Whether you can find out what it costs without a sales call.
  5. Are there named humans? Attributable people with roles. This matters for AI answers more than most agencies realise — it is a large part of how a model decides an organisation is real.

All observations below were made in August 2026 from each agency's own public website and public review profiles. Nothing here is based on a private conversation, and nobody paid to be included or excluded. Agencies are listed alphabetically after the first three, which are the three most visible in Hong Kong search results at the time of writing.

The list

1. First Page HK

The most visible agency in Hong Kong search by a clear margin — it appears for most commercial queries in the category, including in Chinese. A Google Premier Partner (the top tier, roughly the top 3% of partners globally), it states more than 500 Google reviews at 4.9 and lists fourteen awards. It publishes a substantial learning centre plus six free tools, and it also publishes its own ranked list of Hong Kong GEO agencies — on which it places itself first.

Strong on: corroboration, reach, content volume. Consider: it is a large agency, so ask who actually runs your account. Pricing is not published.

2. Mercury Technology Solution

Ranks for both "GEO agency Hong Kong" and "AI SEO agency Hong Kong". Its differentiator is a branded, written methodology — the "C.A.T.C.H." framework — which is a genuinely smart move, because named things get cited by models and unnamed processes do not. It publishes a ranked category list in which it places itself first at 9.2/10.

Strong on: a defined, referenceable method. Consider: a self-scored 9.2 in a self-published ranking is a marketing artefact, not an assessment.

3. Get Clicks

Trading since 2008, which in this category is a long time. The thing that stands out is unusual in Hong Kong: they name their people — a founder and two named specialists with roles, publicly. Client logos include Toyota, NordVPN, Herman Miller and Shopify. A phone number is published.

Strong on: named humans, longevity, recognisable clients. Consider: GEO is newer to their offering than SEO; ask what they have actually shipped in it.

4. Schnalz (us)

A small Hong Kong studio that runs marketing and builds software under one roof: GEO and Google Ads on one side, native iOS and Android in Swift and Kotlin on the other. We publish four of our own apps on the App Store, we publish our full pricing, and we publish a free AI readiness scoring tool that grades any site across eight signals with no email required.

Strong on: transparent pricing, trilingual delivery (English, 繁中, 简中), and the fact that we can build the fixes we recommend rather than handing you a list. Consider, honestly: we are small, and our third-party corroboration — directory profiles and public reviews — is thinner than the agencies above. That is the same signal we score clients on, and by our own rubric we currently score poorly on it. We are fixing it; you should judge us on it in the meantime.

5. Aimers Agency

Sheung Wan based, and the strongest public review profile of the smaller agencies here: 39 Clutch reviews at 4.9, which is a substantial body of independently verified client feedback. Clutch verifies reviews by interview, so these are harder to manufacture than most.

Strong on: verified third-party corroboration. Consider: less published thinking on GEO specifically than the top three.

6. MARK&TING

Explicitly boutique — "for small companies with BIG potential" — and one of the few in the market that publishes package pricing rather than requiring a call. Vertical landing pages for logistics, fitness, real estate and dental suggest a genuine focus rather than a generalist pitch.

Strong on: price transparency, SME fit. Consider: a small review base, and GEO is not the core of the offering.

7. R-Digital

Ranks well for "GEO agency Hong Kong" and publishes a detailed GEO page with a ten-question FAQ, which is more than most. It also states an uplift figure without a linked source — a habit that is near-universal in this category, ours included, and one worth pushing back on whoever you are talking to.

Strong on: search visibility for the category term. Consider: no case studies or named team that we could find.

8. Truelogic Hong Kong

The largest operation on this list — it states over ten years, 14,000 campaigns and 200+ staff, with clients including Manulife, AXA and 3M. It also publishes a full street address and phone number, which sounds trivial and is not: a consistent, verifiable physical presence is one of the clearer signals that an organisation is real.

Strong on: scale, enterprise track record, verifiable presence. Consider: enterprise scale usually means enterprise minimums.

What to ask before you hire any of us

Five questions that separate a real GEO practice from a rebranded SEO retainer:

  1. "Show me a brand you made appear in an AI answer, and the before and after." Screenshots with dates. If the answer is a general explanation of how LLMs work, they have not done it.
  2. "What will you change on my site in the first month?" You want specifics — structured data, server-side rendering, entity consistency, llms.txt, an FAQ layer. If it is "content strategy", ask again.
  3. "Who else will say we exist?" The off-site half is the hard half and the half most agencies quietly skip. A plan that is entirely on-site is half a plan.
  4. "Can you implement, or only recommend?" Many GEO fixes are engineering work. An agency that cannot touch your codebase will hand you a document and invoice you for it.
  5. "What does it cost, and what happens if I stop?" Anyone who cannot answer the first part before a sales call is managing you, not informing you.

Frequently asked

What is GEO?

Generative engine optimisation is the practice of making a brand easy for AI assistants to identify, verify and quote. Unlike SEO, which competes for a position in a list of links, GEO competes to be named inside a generated answer. The inputs are a mix of on-site signals — structured data, server-rendered content, entity clarity, llms.txt — and off-site corroboration such as directories, reviews and editorial mentions.

How much does a GEO agency cost in Hong Kong?

Published rates in 2026 run from roughly HK$2,500 per month at the boutique end to five-figure monthly retainers at the large agencies. Most Hong Kong agencies do not publish pricing at all. Treat a refusal to give a range before a sales call as a data point in itself.

Can I do this myself?

Partly, and you should try. The on-site half — allowing AI crawlers in robots.txt, publishing valid structured data, server-rendering your content, answering the questions buyers actually ask, adding an llms.txt file — is work an in-house developer can do in a week. The off-site half is slower and cannot be bought outright, which is where an agency earns its fee.

How do I know if an agency is any good at this?

Ask an AI assistant to name the best agencies in your city and see who it returns. It is the cheapest due diligence available, it takes ten seconds, and it tests the exact capability you are buying.

Observations current as of 6 August 2026, drawn from each agency's public website and public review profiles. No agency paid for inclusion. If you run one of these agencies and something here is out of date or wrong, tell us and we will correct it.
